Nestled in the fields of Tocuz, in southern Moldova, our farm is intentionally small. We do not chase volume — we chase perfection. Every decision, from when to plant to when to pick, is made by human hands and human judgment.
Saffron must be harvested at dawn, before the sun opens the flower. Each crimson stigma is plucked one by one, then gently dried to lock in its aroma, colour, and flavour. This is slow work. We would not have it any other way.
Every step is done by hand — the way saffron has been cultivated for centuries.
Crocus bulbs are planted by hand in our Moldovan soil and tended through the seasons with natural methods.
At dawn, each flower is picked individually — before the sun opens its petals — to protect the precious stigmas.
The crimson threads are separated by hand and gently dried, preserving their deep aroma, colour, and flavour.
Each gram is hand-weighed and sealed in our signature glass jars — ready to enjoy or to give as a gift.
